Disappointed

Oh shit... Damn it!

A mixture of moods started boiling up in me. Sad, disappointment, anger, frustrated...

My heart has been beating so fast for the last couple of hours. But suddenly, it wasn't just as if it had stop beating, it felt as if my heart wasn't there at all. My brain seem to be working at slow motion. I faked a smile and managed to produce a small convincing laugh each time my friends joked. But each smile sent more pain to heart that doesn't seem to be there. I had to focus not to drift too far away from earth... too far away from the fact. I struggle hard to concentrate on real life, wanting and wishing to find a lonely spot to hide and to calm my mind...

Good luck tend to avoid me...

I plug in the earphones and automatically choose sad songs to be played all the way back.

Music starts playing like the end of a sad movie

Cause you had a bad day

No hope no love no glory, no happy ending

When you try your best but you don't succeed

Tears stream down your face, I promise you I will learn from my mistakes

Last driving lesson

At 2pm began my last driving lesson. I drove to Sungai Buloh faster this time, using gear 5, which was fun(except the fact that I nearly had an accident). Reached there, practiced all the exams again. I think I can do all of it without any problem. If I fail my driving exam, I'm going to blame bad luck.

So after 5 hours, concluded my driving lesson. I'm really glad I have a good driving instructor. Thanks a lot XD.

I'm going to miss that white Saga...

Happy double birthdays!!

Firstly, happy birthday to my dad. I will always love him and pray for him.

***
At around 10am this morning, Jayden breathe his first breath which officially makes me an uncle. Omg sounds like I'm so old already -.- Hope his presence will bring lots of joys and love to everyone around him.

6 hours of learning driving

My sixth hour at the wheel began with driving from my house all the way to Sungai Buloh. The journey was alright with only slight traffic jam. I made it there in one piece after a little over an hour.

Learned about the on the road exam. I tried hard to remember to direction to take. After all, I'm quite bad at directions. After that, I practiced doing the other 3 exams - uphill, parking and 3 point turn. Still not perfect at any of them. I'm especially worried about the uphill exam.

Around 12 noon, I did all 4 of the exams with an examiner instead of my usual driving instructor beside me in the car. They said it was trial exam. Oh crap... Well, I'll think of it as training.

I drove up the hill... while panicking a little, I hit the brakes too early. I had to reverse back to try again(luckily it didn't count as fail) and managed to do it fine on my second try. At least I did better at parking and 3 point turn.

Next was on the road and fortunately there weren't many cars on the road. So I didn't really mess up much.

Oh and the engine dying curse still haunts me. I think the engine died about 3 or 4 times today. I swear the clutch is the main threat that might cause me to fail.

I drove back to KL slightly faster. I drove around 80km/h the most and I wanted to go even faster. But I think that beating the speed limit in a L car with a driving instructor beside you isn't a good idea. The traffic jam was worse than in the morning. It sucks to get stuck in a jam while driving a manual car. My left leg was worn out by the time I reached home at around 5 mins to 2pm.

Tired is an understatement... I'm completely exhausted from 6 hours of learning driving...

The Spy Next Door

Went to see The Spy Next Door with Vic today in Times Square.

It was quite funny. As expected, it was another good Jackie Chan movie. There was action and comedy in it. Not to mention combine with a few cool gadgets. The kids acting are very good too. The funny acting mistakes shown at the end of the movie is a bonus.

A good movie. 8/10

Vampire's Assistant

It was half day work today. Upon getting an invitation, I went to Time Square in the afternoon to see Vampire's Assistant with Rick and Huey. Haha I become lamp post XD.

The movie was ok only. I expected it to be better since the trailer was good. The story line was bad and the ending was horrible, in fact there was no ending to the movie at all. They left it hanging half way. There are many characters(or more likely freaks) in the movie. They are a bit interesting and freaky at the same time.

At least the movie was funny in some parts. The acting was good too.

Did they copy Twilight or what? Vampires that carry people on their back as they 'fly'? Good vampires that don't want to drink human blood? Yea... sounds a lot like Twilight. The movie reminds me of Twilight...

Well overall, I'll give it a 6.5/10

Education Fair

Went to the Education Fair in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center this morning with my mum. We reached about 10.45am - 15 mins before the fair starts. But there were quite many people waiting already.

So, I collected lots of brochures and got some info about the courses. But I'm still as blur as ever. Not sure which college to go or which course to take. But it most probably will be Accounting or Finance or Accounting and Finance.

I saw one of my primary school classmate there. He called out my full Chinese name(something which I haven't heard for years...) as I wave and smiled. I couldn't remember his name... In fact, I couldn't remember much of my childhood memories...

Didn't see anyone else which I recognise.

So many courses. Confusing... -.-

Working

Today is probably the day that I signed the most... so far.

People was starting to come to the office to make payments and buy car sticker that are required. So I was slightly busier than the previous days. The next few days will be even busier though as the notice of the opening of this office will be handed out to all residents thus leading more people to come to this office.

"You look quite young."
"Ya I just finished SPM."
"Oh. So work part time here?"
"Yup."
"But you look more like you finished PMR instead of SPM."

Receipts, approval forms, records... all had my lame signature on them. I really hoped that I didn't do anything wrong. This is the reason why working is scarier than schooling. Any mistake that you make will affect not just yourself, but other people too, unlike schooling.

I want freedom again.

But I can't complain.

This is life.

First day of work... sort of

It was around 1pm. I was online when I received yet another similar instant message.
"You're not working?"
"I think you are the 3rd person who asked me that."

Well my work time will be from 10am-11am and 2pm-7pm on weekdays. I just need to walk around my apartment to see any problems and stuff in the morning(while getting some exercise at the same time). The work in the afternoon will be in the office.

But here I am back again. I'm expecting the same question to be bombed at me again. Well the main reason is that the office isn't ready yet. They are still clearing the old files and things while reviving the office(it was closed for a long time until now).

Yay I got half day off XD

No more questions I hope.

You're hired

Oh noez... I have a job...

As a clerk and helper in my apartment's company starting on Tuesday.

The plus side is that I will get more cash! Oh and I can just walk to and fro from my work place XD

The downside is I won't have anymore freedom...

Left leg hurts

I limped slightly as I walked back from the gate to my house. Being a right footed, my left leg lack strength, stability and whatever stuff needed to control the clutch...

Driving hasn't been improving. I got to use gear 3 this time but I'm still not use to controlling the clutch.

I learnt about going up and down a hill, parking and 3 point turn today. The hill part was a nightmare. The engine died quite a number of times...

At least the parking and 3 point turn wasn't that hard...

So today's driving was mostly involving controlling the clutch. My left leg was exhausted in the end, especially since I had to keep repeating and practicing.

New year party

Went to K Yan's house yesterday night for a bbq cum new year party with some of our classmates. Her house was quite nice and huge! Her doggy is cute XD.

Played Wii, table tennis and sang karaoke. I refuse to use the microphone to sing though. There were only a handful of songs which suited my taste. But I did have fun there.

Finally at midnight, we counted down the new year and failed to 'pop' open a sparkling juice. The Coke burst when it was shaken though. Almost everyone had their handphones out, sending or receiving new year wishes.

I, like almost everyone else, stayed there until 2am before finally leaving. The departure was also delayed as some of them wanted to try and drive the manual car.

Happy New Year 2010!!
