Another year flew by, and yet another roller coaster year.

Thank you for the sadness and sorrow, that nobody wants to feel.

Thank you for the drops of tears, which are the pain of the heart.

Thank you for the emo times, a break from being strong for too long.

Thank you for the times where every breath seem to hurt.

Thank you for the stab and wounds towards the heart.

Thank you for the scars that will never fade away.

Thank you for the stormy rain and cold darkness.

But most importantly,

Thank you for the pure happiness and joy that brightens the day.

Thank you for the laugher until the stomach hurts and the tears leak out.

Thank you for the achievements and successfulness that makes one grow.

Thank you for the presence of true kindness and sincere care.

Thank you for the money cannot buy things, that are valued more than money.

Thank you for the once in a life time things, that will be cherished forever.

Thank you for the hope, no matter how small it is, that lights up the darkness.

Thank you 2012 for all these memorable events and memories.

Watched CZ12 on Thursday.

This being his last action movie, will be the last time we get to see Jackie Chan doing his stunts and combat skills on the big screen. This time, he plays a somewhat "bad guy" that steals and looks for rare treasures of the world. We will see him use several gadgets including the roller suit (or whatever it is called) from the movie poster.

The story line is average and even confusing at times. Besides the weak story, several scenes seems a bit fake. But that isn't the main purpose of the movie right. We just want to watch him beat up bad guys and do stunts. He didn't disappoint even though his skills are not as good or agile as they were last time. No surprise since he is already age 50+. In fact, it is surprising he is still that good at this age. We also get to see the comical side of him too.

A must watch for his fans.

Life of Pi 3D

Went to watch Life of Pi in 3D yesterday.

The Life of Pi tells the story of Pi's life since he was a little boy. After his family decided to sell the zoo animals that they owned, they are headed overseas on a big cruise to sell the animals. Unfortunately, a big storm came and caused a shipwreck. After losing his family and everything he had, Pi finds himself lost in the sea, on a little lifeboat, together with a tiger.

So it begins a new life of trying to survive together with a tiger while trying to find help.

Sure some parts may seem kinda boring and slow moving as the story is told. But the beautiful effects and scenes pulls you into the movie. Watching this in 3D makes this even more effective. The scenes are stunning and the animals will keep the audience wondering if they are real or not. Everything just seems so real. This is probably one of the few movie (Avatar being one of them) that is worth watching in 3D.

The beautiful scenes and effect and heartwarming story is what this movie is made of. If you really don't like this kind of movie, it will not be interesting for you. Otherwise, get ready to be suck into the life of Pi and his days in the sea with a tiger.

Wreck-It Ralph

Went to watch Wreck-It Ralph yesterday.

Basically, this is a movie similar to Toy Story, but instead of the toy's world, we get to have a look at the arcade games' world. Wreck-It Ralph is one of the arcade games which features Ralph as the villian destroying the building while the hero, Fix-It Felix will fix everything. Tired of being the "bad guy", Ralph leaves his arcade game and try to earn a medal of hero recognition.

With some turn of events, Ralph ends up in Sugar Rush game (a racing game in a sugar world) where he meets Vanellope. She starts of annoying but gradually grows on you into the cute girl with a good story.

Gamers will be delighted to see video game characters being included in the movie even though they play a bit part only. The popular ones include Sonic the Hedgehog, Ryu, Bowser, Pacman and the ghost, Zangief.

Although it might not seem popular, it is one of the best animated movie. There is a short black and white animation played at the beginning of the movie. And if that stood out even though it was colourless and there wasn't any speech, surely Wreck-It Ralph would bring the goods too. It exceeds expectation with many hilarious scenes, good voice acting, lovable characters, solid story, many references (there's even a volcano of diet coke with falling menthos XD) and even a few emotional scenes.

A must watch for video game or arcade fans. Even if you're not, it's still highly recommended if you want a highly enjoyable movie.
