Went to Singapore for the 2nd time this year. This time, we stayed with relatives and went around to explore with them the whole time. Hang out around their house before eating dinner. The place where they stayed was very convenient with plenty of shops and the MRT within walking distance.
Second day. We went to sit on the Singapore flyer. It's a very huge ferris wheel and it takes around 30 minutes for a whole spin. Took pictures and enjoyed the view from it.
We went for the boat ride during the evening after dinner, since aunt said that the night view was nicer. She was quite right. The lights made the view much more attractive. There was also music being played on the boat (someone was playing a music instrument live).
The best part was we could see laserlights coming from Marina Bay Sands.
Cousin sister kept on asking me to sit on the Reverse Bungee with her. It's a ride where you sit on a ball-like seats and get launch up into the air before coming back down and going back up again. Kinda like a rubber band or slingshot mechanism. We all went to have a closer look and after seeing it from so near, we all confirmed that we will never sit on it. Not her though. She was still determined to sit on it but she didn't want to sit alone. So we all went off, but not without her still trying to persuade me.
Didn't go around much except around their house for the third day. Spent most of the time with cousin brother (or actually he spent most of the time with me). Had to put up with his games and cheating tactics. Winning clearly wins much more to a person who is 10 years younger than me. So I oblige him.
Started to like living in Singapore even more now. Their public transport is so much better. Can't even drink water in the MRT though.
Enjoyed the trip very much especially with my relatives who gave us more than welcome hospitality.
A temporary holiday, a temporary escape from all the happenings, a temporary escape from all the problems.
