Don't judge a book by its cover

Just because someone looks good mannered doesn't mean he is actually polite.
Just because a person looks smart doesn't mean that he is.
Just because a person answers a lot doesn't mean he is knowledgeable.
Just because someone smiles all the time doesn't mean he is happy.

First impressions and looks may sometimes be important.
However, we do not know their background, their character, their life, their history and their story.

We should never assume something about a person based on what we see.
By doing that, we will never know or understand what that person had been through.
So, don't judge a book by its cover.
