Love can be the most hurtful feeling

Loving someone can be hurtful.

We can get hurt by loving someone who doesn't love you back.
We can get hurt by loving someone who falls out of love with you.
We can get hurt by loving someone who will not be around anymore.
We can get hurt by loving someone who has already left you.
We can get hurt by loving someone who has forgotten you.

We can get hurt by watching the person we love suffer and be in pain.
We can get hurt by watching the person we love love someone else.
We can get hurt by unrequited love.

Love can cause pain not only to yourself, but to the people around you.
Loving someone might cause problems and issues that have to be brought up and dealt with.
Loving someone might cause relationships to change and even break down.

Loving someone might cause another person that loves you to get hurt.
What if we love someone and another person loves us?
If that is true, at least one person will suffer when you love another.
We suffer by loving them even though they love someone else.

We only feel hurtful, sad and despair because we love so much.

So why do we love if love can be the most hurtful feeling?
